SET SALE SERIES
This series of illustrations are depictions of interiors I modeled and rendered from scratch, without the use of A.I., that are based on brief descriptions of settings found in various scripts & novels. The goal of this exercise is to showcase my ability to visualize a space based on limitations of any given script, hopefully pushing the boundaries to create visual stimulating and purposeful spaces.
BROOKLYN TOWNHOUSE REMODEL
Design Principal & Project Manager
This was a unique project to revitalize a townhouse built in the 1870's that had fallen into disrepair. The project required a full gut renovation, needing to replace floor beams, electrical, plumbing, windows, roof, a brick two story rear extension, and more. Working with an empty shell, the challenge was to honor the original design integrity by bringing back the details that had been lost over the years. The result is a Modern-Victorian era two family home in Brooklyn New York. Details about the renovation can be found at my blog: thisuglyhousenyc.com/

ICELAND THEATER PAVILION DESIGN COMPETITION
Senior Designer
This was a design collaboration with Carlos Menendez (Design Principal) about a proposed movie theater/ gallery / cafe near the Grjótagjá Caves in Iceland. The caves tension between two tectonic plates, the Eurasian Plate and the Caribbean Plate. Our design plays on two irregular triangular wedge shapes comprised of a gallery / movie theater in one, and a cafe / restrooms in the other. They are bridged by a skylight corridor reminiscent of crystal formations that connect in length between the two buildings.
